Rickenella fibula (Bull. ex Fr.) Raith. Cap 0.3-1.5cm, convex with deep depression at center, striate; orange-yellow to buff. Gills deeply decurrent, distant; white. Stem 10-50 x 1-2mm; yellow-orange; smooth to finely hairy. Odor not distinctive. Taste not distinctive. Spores ellipsoid, 4-5 x 2-2.5µ. Deposit white. Habitat in moss. Found in Europe and throughout most of North America. Season June-November. Edibility not known. |
